After your intro NPO meeting:
- Send the NPO a thank you email for meeting with you
- Include a Calendly for your next scoping meeting for the week of Sep 18
- By that meeting, have this Feature Scoping Document finished. This will include all features you can think of, try to include more than needed, you can cut down on features later on.
- This document is a rough draft! It’s structured in a way that should be easy to manage, but feel free to use your own scoping document if you’d like.
- During that meeting, talk to the NPO about what features are classified in what category of importance. Which ones are 100% necessary, feasible, etc..? What features are missing? What features might they not need?
- After the meeting, with your new knowledge, make any necessary revisions and then fill out the Project Proposal and only include the feature scope of your project specifically, so subset your “all features” document into what you have scoped out for this Blueprint year. You will then send this to the VP SWEs for approval.
- After the VP SWEs approve your proposal, send it to the NPO!
